Placing lapel/lavalier mics under clothing
Anyone got any tips for placing mics under clothing and avoiding clothing rustle noise? Usually for females I stick the mic head in their cleavage and tape it with Elastoplast onto their skin or on their bra strap- with the guys I usually gaffer tape onto the inside of their shirts. This usually works but I get clothing rustle more times than I like, even after trying everything that I can to move the mic head away from any pieces of clothing. It can get quite frustrating, especially with the clients and talent waiting. Any tips? FYI I am a freelance camera op but I have one client who I exclusively do audio for (I started my TV career as a soundo for News so I do have tons of ENG experience, although mostly shotgun mic stuff)

Found some great tips in other threads
I don't know why I didn't check other threads first. Feeling a little stupid, just quietly
