Replacement Lav Mic for Sennheiser

I have the EW100ENG wireless system. What other lav mics will work this transmitter besides the Sennhieser mics?

Thanks,
Eric

Eric,

i have gone with the Countryman B3 with very satisfying results. A search will yield much information on this topic.

Most mics will work. The only thing you have to worry about is proper wiring to the 1/8" mini connector. You can purchase these mics with the connector already attached from a lot of places.

I did the same after weighing the B3, B6, and Sanken Cos11x. The B3 is working nicely for my needs.

We use the Tram TR50, there is a version specifically wired for the Sennheiser transmitters, I think B&H lists it.../Battle Vaughan/miamiherald.com video team

Small, easy to hide, sweat proof (actually, complete waterproof) Countryman B6 - have a listen Countryman B6 lavalier at DVcreators.net

That's a Sennheiser Evolution G2 feeding directly into the Panasonic HPX500.

The Sennheiser MKE 2-ew is very much better than the supplied ME 2 mic.
