Sony Sonic Stage -> Holiday Madness...Help?

I don't know if this is an appropriate place for help with the following problem. I've got some old family oral history recordings that were made on a Hi-MD machine and transferred to a computer using Sony Sonic Stage software. I have been trying to burn a copy of these to a CD to give to my parents-in-law. I cannot for the life of me get the Sony software to burn a cd - it keeps going through the motions and then reporting "cannot transfer tracks" - and I cannot figure out how to use anything else to convert the *.oma format files to .wma or anything normal.

Any help would be hugely appreciated. :(

Seem to have solved the problem by uninstalling all Roxio apps (which broke Sonic Stage) then reinstalling Sonic Stage. Now it's working...must have been some kind of conflict with legacy Roxio components.
