The new Rode M3 resembles the AKG C1000S in appearance, and even uses a 9V battery like the AKG. I would hope it sounds better than the C1000S, which I have never liked.

I got an M3 in about a week after I got my NTG-2 from BH. They delivered it very quickly.

I emailed the guys as Rode, they said that they ran out of M3's and just got a new shipment from Australia in the last week so they should be going out to people soon.
