Any experience with Tapco S8 Monitors

Has anyone had any experience with the Tapco S8 studio monitors. I was originally going to go with the M-Audio BX8's but they seem to be a discontinuned item ( or at least B&H isn't carrying them anymore).

I was also wondering how the Tapco S8's compare to the Mackie HR624's. I know the Mackies are great monitors and more expensive but for the lower price do the Tapco's present a good value without losing too much quality.

I did a search of this forum for Tapco and only came up with info on their mixers. Any input would be appreciated.
