I bought a Sennheiser EW100 G2 wireless system at northernsound.net for $413 (item #EW122PG2). The camera mounting kit was an additional $17 (item #CA2). It is a great price for a terrific system. The company is in PA so you won't pay sales tax and their shipping is free. Much good luck to you. |

Make sure the EW 100 G2 (generation 2) comes with the 3.5 mm plug on the end of the cable. The G1 did - just not sure if the G2 does.

Thanks alot for the help, but I'm looking for something a little cheaper. I just purchased a new computer so i'm kind of tight on cash. I was looking for something in the $200-$300 price change. Any other suggestions?

Try this one at B&H SAUML350U1 The page link is http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/cont...ughType=search I have three Samson (for my wedding videography)and they never let me down. It's a top mic at a friendly price. Samson also has a smaller one(i which also) but it has a smaller range. Regarding mounting on the camera: I use velcro - either on the top of the handle or at the back of the battery. Oh, i forgot. This one has XLR out, so you have to use soem kind of adaptor. Anthony |

Yes, I was going to suggest Samson as I had found them to be small, light and good. The one I used (www.samsontech.com) was the Airline UHF
wireless system and I had the AL1 Presentation Transmitter which I plugged my sony tie mic into. Also with that I had the AM1 receiver which I plugged into my camera. I velcro the receiver to the flat panel at the front of the lens - the rectangular surface that houses the VAP electronics and mechanics. tom. |
