Intro Post: Rode Video mic/ Volume control
Hey, this is my first post but I've made a habit of reading all the threads even though most are over my head. It did encourage me to buy the Rode Video Mic. I looked at a review at
http://www.pana3ccduser.com/article....%D8DE-Videomic I saw this picture of a stero volume control for the Mic. Its supposed to be available at any electronic store. I've been searching on line, but I don't know what its called so i'm not getting any results for the search. What's it called so I know what to look for. I'll make new threads for my other questions so I don't complicate matters. Thanks, Scott |

Scott, welcome to the forums. That looks like a volume attenuator. Here's one from Radio Shack, made for headphones, but presumably would work with any mini-plug device:
