Beachtek DXA-2S or XLR-PRO??
They are about the same price ($20 more for the beachtek).
The beachtek is a tad shorter in width (3.25 vs 5.25 inches/ Same weight. XLR has an additional 1/8. XLR hax beltclip mounting33 Any difference in quality between both? Simply based on above I'm inclined to the XLR due to beltclip option any suggestions??? thank you max |

The DXA-2 3.5mm jack is specified for wireless recievers. There have been reports of some significant attenuation plugging a 3.5mm unbalanced mic (like the Rode) into it. I'd confirm with Beachtek if the DXA-2s is different...
The XLR-PRO, (which I use) works as advertised. I mix the AT88W and the Rode VM through it...no problems. Build quality is excellent, pots stay set, no hissing, popping etc on adjust. I'm not flying in the same sky as Douglas Spotted Eagle as far as audio goes, but I'd give it a two thumbs up. |
