Sony Wireless Compatibility
I think I know the answer to this one but I wanted to confirm it with someone who knows more than I do about wireless systems (most everyone else). I have, from the Sony wireless UWP series, a transmitter (UTX-B1) that operates on channels 66 to 69 (782.125 - 805.875 MHz). I also have a tuner (URX-P1) that operate on channels 62 to 65 (758.125 - 781.875 MHz).
Unless I am missing something, it seems to me that these two pieces of equipment were not made for each other. Presumably, I need both a transmitter and receiver that operate on the same channels. Can someone confirm that for me? thanks Curt |

Curt,
Indeed. You have a receiver and a transmitter that can't "talk" to each other. Can you determine whether the frequencies can be changed? As I'm in Los Angeles, I had to do this with my Senn wireless mics purchased from New York. Really no big deal. Much luck to you, Stephanie |
