I sent TheWindCutter.com people my D-50 so they could develop a jacket for it, and they did a great job. Now they are available for D-50s. I can hear a bit of low rumble, but it's hardly there compared to the alternative. What I did get can easily be removed. I'm also listening on speakers with tremendous bass response, so I'm hearing everything.

I just watched your test of the WindJacket for the D-50 and it looks like your test results parallel mine with the "windowless" prototype for the ZoomH1.

I now have my finished production version for the H1 plus one for the H2 and while all I've had a chance to do is take them out in wind with headphones (couldn't get to any video projects) I feel like they've done the best we're going to see short of a blimp for these recorders.

Mike advised me by email that for our forum members they are extending the $10 discount till the end of April (2011). People ordering need to enter 10OFFNOW in the coupon field on checkout.

Boy do we have gusty spring winds here now. Even blows a lot through the night, drops a mess of dead tree branch parts in the yard at times.

Yes Bruce, I was really impressed with how much rumble got cut. TheWindCutter's wind jacket is a really effective tool.
