Sent you a PM, not sure if you got it. Al Bergstein, Thanks for your input. To answer your question, I primarily have someone on my crew use it for run and gun booming, and interviews. Like I said in a previous post, it does everything I need and more. It makes no sense for me to upgrade something that works great for my needs. I still know competent cameramen running Sure FP32s. It would be more cost effective for me to keep the 442 and spend $300 to $500 on a digital recorder that I would use occasionally. My plans for it are occasional foley work and impromptu VO. Garrett Low, I plan on keeping it for now but thanks. Damian T. Lloyd, Think you might be right. I would love to hear from anyone with experience as well. |
