2 wired lavalier at same time

I will do an interview using two cameras (Vx2000 and DVC30)...Can I put two wired lavalier mics on the same person, with one inch of separation between each mic ? Can I get any sound interference?

thanks

You could and I wouldn't anticipate any problems - double mics are done all the time in broadcast - but why bother? You can intercut picture separately from sound in post so all you really need is one clean track. 2 mics aren't bad insurance in case one goes out during a "gotta get it right in one take" situation or for live broadcasts where a mic failure would be catastrophic but I doubt if it's necessary in your case.
