Re: 6 XLR mixer?
Legal videographers mixer workhorse is the Shure M367 - 6 inputs. Can interconnect two of them if needed (12 inputs). No longer made, but you can pick up one on eBay between $100 and $200. I even found a used one in perfect condition at B&H a while back. Picked up another one "just in case" from a legal videographer who retired.

Re: 6 XLR mixer?
I, too, have been thinking about the zoom F8. You can order it with what appears to be a nice bag..
Would be interested to hear any comments on practical use of this mixer/recorder. |

Re: 6 XLR mixer?
If one is planning to use the F8 as a mixer, (not the intended purpose) it's -10dB outputs are a serious issue if feeding pro gear downstream. Otherwise they (zoom) seems to have gotten most else right.. (never thought I'd have anything good to say about Zoom)
