The ck91 is a cardioid pattern while the ck 93 is a hyper. I have both, so I am sure of it. Here is a link to AKG's product page:

I am very happy with the sound quality for a system that didn't cost an arm and a leg.

You are right; only the capsules are listed on that page. I rummaged around AKG's website and found the SE 300 B preamp for the Blue Line at: http://www.akg.com/products/powersla...uage,ENUS.html
