Hello everyone, i know there are many recommendations on the forums for good audio mixers, but i need one which can mount to the camera... do such products exist?

Hi John,
It depends what you want to use it for...if you simply need an adapter to be able to plug in XLR mics then you should look at the Beachtek range... If your camera actually has XLT inputs and you want a field mixer I have not seen a camera mounted one...however the Sound Devices Premix is an excellent tool and is small and light enough to carry on a belt or strap.. Has two inputs, phantom power, good preamps and limiters and is easy to use... Cheers Gareth |

.
Such a thing does amazingly exist, it's called the tiny Mix and is made by Ambient, you will need an adapter to the mic you are using if I remember correctly. If it will do what you want really is up to what you are doing (surprisingly).

Yeah, my camera does have xlr... i was wondering if the beechtek had the ability to mix both inputs to one channel?
The tiny mix looks interesting, although i was looking for a four channel mixer... but it still could work! |
