do you mean to capture the video and edit it?

if so, some of the more popular are final cut pro or final cut express (from apple - mac based)

Vegas (pc based)

Adobe Premiere (mac or pc)

i'm trying to record from an USB medical camera, but i would like to record in RAW...i cannot find a decent software :(
