EX-1 with the letus and anamorphic lens

I have my EX-1 with the letus extreme a pentax 50mm lens which has a 49mm thread with an iscorama 54 anamorphic lens with a step down ring attached. I cant seem to get good focus. Even at 15 feet away. Could it be Im using a smaller part of the iscorama lens? Seems to work fine if I attach the iscorama directly to the EX-1?

Are you able to get good focus with that arrangement on a stills camera? Do you have the equipment to try it?

You mean use the pentax lens with the anamorphic adapter on a stills camera? Good idea! The focus looks OK and lines up perhaps a little soft but then its hard to tell. Looking through the still cameras viewfinder.
