Matte Boxes & Zoom Lenses at DVinfo.net

Hi,

I am looking at putting together a rig that uses a zoom lens and the CAVision 16:9 matte box on 15mm rods with the 35mm adapter. However I have a question about the matte box and how it is fixed to the rods.

The zoom lens extends during zooming. So I am hoping that the matte box attached to the rods can freely slide up and down while I zoom? Can someone confirm this is the case? or if not.. what options do I have?
