Yes... no back up... The cop didn't want to be held responsible for the death, therefore he stalls... Ha ha I don't know. He might have called backup right after the phone call.
It's a movie in 48 hours. |
And actually we did get the cops called on us because some of the neighbors thought a "drug deal" was going down because they saw the guns. You would think they would see a boom guy, a camera, and people with reflectors... but I guess not.
The cop was real cool though, we got to continue filming. |
QUestion, how big was the screen that it showed on and how did it look like?
|
Good question. I'd like to know how the final showing went.
|
It was a standard movie theater screen in the AMC. It was one of their big theater rooms as opposed to their smaller ones... It looked good, obviously not like film, but good...

Shot on letus35 flipped and dvx100a with 28 and 50mm nikon lenses... edited in vegas 6.
It's a WIP so it will probably change, the group wants to do some motorcycle shots... That means lots and lots of light!! |
Hey Sean, how do you find the flipped to use? I know there were concerns about other Letus' and dust inside, have you had any problems with it?
Also, what do you use for rails? Cheers Aaron |
I really like using the Letus35 Flipped... Great piece of equipment! There was a dust speckle in mine, but you really have to look in order to notice it... I'll probably clean it out later on. Quyen usually dust proofs every unit.
As for my rails, I use a Manfroto Telephoto lens support unit... works great! And it only costed me $60. I wish I could just get a shoulder mount. |
Sean,
I was at the screening. Wasn't sure at the time if you had used an adaptor or applied selective blurring in post. Way to go to use an adaptor when under such a time crunch. Josh |
