Letus35XL & Canon H1 Footage

So yesterday I did some tests with the Letus35XL on the H1.

this time also specifically testing some of the Presets that many have posted in the CanonXL-H1 forum.
The Results are quite nice...all 24F, straight .m2t files
(play them with VLC media Player)
They are quite large...I am uploading them now --

the 24F_.m2t files are the newer Letus
(the "Morandi" movie and the "Letus345XL_Herbs.mov's" are from the older version of the Letus35XL with the H1)
others I will be uploading in the next few days test specific presets in 1080/60i,
so keep checking back

I am using a Nikkor 85mm/ 1.4 -- nice glass,
but it means that the focal plane is very shallow and although I am getting much better at using the viewfinder-- pay attention to when things go in and out of focus and I think you will see that when I hit it, the sharpness of the footage is beautiful...and when I dont it is still nice, but a little soft...I think this is the cameraman's fault most of the time rather than the adapter.

Interesting thing is the Fine Film like grain with this adapter when you close down the iris. I like it, but it's interesting that there is a sweet iris spot and going darker adds a lot of fine grain to the image -- I notice this because it chokes my 17" powerbook - I don't really see/notice it on a smooth machine...
Let me know what you think...
