To clear things up

Im purchasing a letus 35mm adapter soon for my XL2 and I wondering what range of lenses I can use. Can I use AF lenses and just flip the switch to M?

Yes, you can use AF lenses and flip the switch to M. I hope your lens is faster than F3.5.
