Where can I get a cheap and good Achromat for DIY HDV adapter project?

I got a 57mm achromat from Ebay but they were very old(Edmund Scientifics. Not Edmund Optics). They are about +7.5 diopters. But they have NO COATING.
I'm interested in the SGPro Achromat(I heard that they are good) but they don't always reply my emails. The problem is that I need it in ultimate urgent.
Ultimately I might go back to Binocular optics...at least they are coated.

You guys have any suggestion what should I get?

Lau, I'm selling my 72mm Redrock HD achromat. It's of very high quality, and it's coated. It usually goes for a little under $400, I'm selling it for $170, which I think is a little cheaper than the Sgpro achromat, if you're interested. It has a tiny flaw in the coating on one side and if you tilt it towards the light a bit you can see it faintly, but it's a very small imperfection and does not affect the image at all. Let me know if you're interested. I can ship it immediately. It's power is between 7+ and 10+, I'm not sure what it is exactly.

Hi Ben,

How does the M2 HD Achromat compared to the SGPro one in term of image quality? I've heard that SGPro achromat are the sharpest on earth.
And I'm living in Hong Kong. Will you ship it to here? USD$170 seems not a bad deal. How much is the shipping?

p.s. Do you have a picture of that achromat? (It would be great if there's a picture showing the imperfection)

Lau, I'll PM you with details, but I will say here that this is the same achromat that ships with the M2 adapters and I haven't heard many people complain of quality. I don't know anything about the sgpro so i can't comment there.

Lau, seems like I can't send you emails. Shipping to Hong Kong would be $15. So $185 would be the total.

The imperfection is hard enough to see with the naked eye, these are my best attempts at holding it up to a strong light and photographing it. It is the striation you can see in the reflection of the lampshade, that appears to be a lack of anti-reflective coating.

Hi ben, you can send to my email at 50682819@student.cityu.edu.hk.

So will the striation on the lens coating affect the Bokeh rendering and lens flare? It would be strange if there are visible striation on the Bokeh and lens flare.
And do you have a paypal account or do you use ebay?

Thx.

Housed in a black anodised aluminium ring, 72mm threaded each side.
