I spoke with a couple of the people involved with the show tonight but I forgot to get the exact timings. I'll get them tomorrow night.

I'll address everything over email tomorrow evening.

The good news I got tonight is the parent organization has hired a videographer for the entire weekend, which includes two cameras at the fashion show. I just need to make sure their end product doesn't conflict with ours. The scope of theirs is supposed to be an overview and recap of the whole weekend's events, whereas ours is going to be solely focused on the fashion show. It will be a lot more compelling to watch a four-camera production, and they're supplying me with the raw tapes from the other two camera feeds.

Thanks!

edit: The show is scheduled to begin at 1:30 and end at 3:30 p.m. Barry, I'll email you the rest of the details. Thanks again!

Hi,
I'm Bill and live in the Williamsburg VA area. There is a group of producers and animators living in the area that have joined together showing each of our skills and abilities on a DVD that we are currently making. I own Canon XL-1 camera and edit on Final Cut. Just wondering if others in the area would like to join us.

There is strength in numbers!

Thanks

I am a Media Arts graduate from the University of South Carolina with experience in film and video production, including pre-production and editing. I also do web and multimedia design. I am in South Carolina but I am looking to move to New York (or wherever work is). I can do professional-quality work for much less than others charge. If you are interested in working with me please contact me at contact@jackyschuler.com. I am interested in any type of film/video/media work and I am more than willing to travel/relocate.

are basically looking for people to join you.

Welcome aboard here, Bill.

Have gear, (and twenty-plus years of experience), will travel. Headquartered in the Rocky Mountain region, and speaking more than English, with a passport which is current and warmed up, I can probably do the job.

As the title says, I have a project coming up on the 19th/20th and 26th/27th this month and could use an extra cameraperson. You don't even need to bring a camera.
The shoot is a deferred pay event, which means you don't get paid anything until (if) it sells and makes money.

Anyone who is intersted, please email me at the_klenzer@hotmail.com

NOTE: Althought you don't have to be a pro, some competence with a video camera is necessary. This isn't a job for first timers or casual hobbiests.

Thanks

Or you fly me up instead of deferred payment? <g>

We shot a music video for the band The Code on A-F Records in Erie, PA. You can check it out on the company website. We are shooting a music video at the end of June in Pittsburgh for the band Voice In The Wire on Eyeball Records.

Thanks for the response - Looks fantastic! How'd you come up
with Erie? Are they an Erie band? What editing software are you using? Wish I could have been around to watch. Thanks again.

Oh sorry, so how do you sync all the different shot locations? Do they just play segments of the song?

Ants Media Group has been asked to source blunders for an American network. Sports crashes, presenter foul ups, animal accidents - the usual suspects.

You retain ownership we just distribute-

E-mail clips@antsmedia.tv if you have content you own and wish to earn from it.

FYI - you always retain the clips, we act as distributors (we get 30% and you get the rest). The rest is usually anything between £150 - £300 GBP....Get in touch - it's real easy cash!

How would you like us to get you the clips? I could do it through AIM if that would be good for you?

Mike Rehmus

What else but free, right?

This is a public service event.

just about 60 years ago, a couple of Navy Ammunition ships that were loading ammunition, exploded in Port Chicago, near Concord, (Northern) California. IIRC, this event killed more than 100 sailors and civilians, and just about flattened the town.

On July 17th at 10 am, they are having a memorial service for those who were killed. I'm going to tape the event and see if we can scare up some support for a physical memorial for these forgotten people.

So if you would like to participate, please call or email me. I'll furnish the PD150 and ask you to grab B-Roll and cut-aways.

michael.rehmus@byvideo.com or 707 643-1970.

I'll be on vacation from 6-11 to 6-26 so don't expect a reply until the end of this month.

What's in it for you? Certainly a copy of the tape, a chance to meet people who may decide to employ$ you for other events. I taped the local Memorial Day Ceremony and provided tapes to all the principals. As is usual when I give away services, I've already received one paid booking from a customer I'd never otherwise connect with.

Hi Dylan,

I live in Vancouver and would love to help out. As far as the deferred payment goes that is no problem, I am not into video to make money I am into it for the love of making movies. I have done some work on a few documentaries and have a regular gig on Monday nights. I am not sure if my skills are enough to be a camera man but I still would like to help out (I can be the gaffer bit*h) ether way I have a DVC80 and a good mic so if you need a hand please let me know.

PS
What kind of project is it that you are shooting?

Keith Loh
June 12th, 2004, 01:20 PM
It is for the documentary footage of a short film. The documentary footage will be part of the whole package which is behind the scenes style shooting, short interviews of a crew making an action-oriented short. Mostly handheld but with tripod as well. The camera(s) will be XL1S.

I need shooters for two different type of jobs.

1. I need shooters in the Jacksonville, Florida area to shoot children's sport/adventure videos.

2. I need shooters in the major metropolitian areas (NYC, Philly, D.C., SF, LA, PHX, MSY, MIA, etc) to shoot aviation related videos. Should be able to work independently and have the ability to capture audio via the aircraft's internal communication system. Aviation knowledge is a definite plus.

Hi,

Since I can't find any shops that rent a portable wireless in Ottawa Canada, I'm wondering if any members that live close by would rent me a transmitter/reciever setup for a day or point me in the right direction to a rental shop.

Thanks

I'm in the process of putting together a test for a reality show idea. I have the talent and concept but to see how it will really work I need to shoot a show, and edit it together. Soooooo, I'm looking for a second camera person (hopefully with a xl1) and a producer. It will be a fun project, and hey, you never know. If it gets picked up you get paid and can go along for the ride if you want. Until then all you get is to meet some interesting people, my thanks and a shot at creating a new show. If this sounds interesting get in touch and we'll chat. Thanks, Eric (LA area)
