Here's a link to the frame grab from "video." I didn't resize nor deinterlace it for accurate presentation(?). :)

And some pics I took in photo mode:

Thanks for all those links! Feel free to post as many as you want. We all like to see pics of stuff. I took a few myself this evening of playful children making faces just for me! (Of course their parents will want copies.)

Just want to let everyone know how to put the codes in:

Start with http, not www.
In the front place [] with url inside.
At the end, place [] with /url inside.

This makes my work a little easier. Thanks.

Thanks for that direction, Frank. I've just modified my signature using your "code" and this post is only a test of how it presents as modified.

as this is a vbulleting, u can also directly link the pctures from an external site by doing this

[*IMG] enter URL of image here [*/IMG]

just remove teh lil *

this takes up no bandwidth for this forum

Hi Young Lee:

Is your camera the MX5000 from Japan or the DV953 which is the North American version?

Just curious how much difference there would be in the cameras.

Great pics - nice to see actual shots from that camera posted here.

Thanks.

Rick.

Mine is the Japanese MX5000, which I bought last year. Thank you for the compliment. :)

It works now. I replaced the codes with url, /url in [].
