Hiya!

2 years ago the DVinfo.net forum was instrumental in my choice to buy a canon GL-2. It has stood me in good stead ever since, and it gives me great pleasure to come full circle and announce the launch of my Independent Film Company, UNDEAD ARMY!!

I currently have four videos online for viewing at http://www.undeadarmy.org & would appreciate views, comments & guestbook entries from the DVinfo.net community!

The site also has info on some of my other activities.

thanks, to Chris & all who maintain the site, and the entire community!!

I liked the "The Holy Man" for the most part. But I'm sorry... you're other stuff [although it has potential] is low quality and overall poorly done. Now this is just my opinion of course, take it as you will. Also, the website is poorly organized, and just looks cheesy. Sorry :( It just doesn't look professional as you state in your "Mission Statement"... which by the way, the link to Mission Statement is too close to the "Links" link. It looks like Mission Statement Links to me.

Undead Army is one of the best, and unique names I've heard for a production company. Thumbs up! Its ten times better than one of those generic info/tech names, and infintely better than choosing a name that sounds the same as a major prodution company to sponge off their success.

As for Marty Martins comments regarding the quality of your work, I'm not sure what he is referring to exactly.

Marty, can you elaborate and maybe offer some constructive criticism instead of just ripping on Hagops work?

I appreciate Marty's honesty. We are after all artists of the craft so will have more oponionated views than the average audience.

Thanks to the BC guys for the comments on the name! It looks like I might have potential following out there?? I'll bring my snowboard, Whistler Blackcomb is calling my name!!!
One of my friends helps to finance the Vancouver film festival, I'm hoping get to work there as a runner/driver this year.

I spent a long time thinking of an appropriate name. I wanted something that would suggest an underground, guerilla organisation, stealthy, flexible, unconventional & unstoppable. I didnt really mean it in a militaristic way, but I felt UNDEAD ARMY embodied what I;m trying to achieve.

My mission statement stops short of being a manifesto - I dont want to alienate people - But I do have some cultural and social goals in mind for my films.

In particular I hope to make feature films that broaden peoples minds without them knowing it. I intend to steer clear of onscreen violence & cultural stereotypes, & the feature ideas I'm working on each have an unusual focus...

Hagop, I volunteered at the VIFF this year and had a blast. Met lots of people and had tons of time to watch films from around the world. If I keep on doing it maybe in a few years I'll have seen 8-10,000 films.

Uh oh, I'd better talk to my web designer and Clipstream agent.

Coming to Vancouver? Bring your snowboard! Hope you like sushi.

...to all who visited in the last few weeks. I've had over 1.7Gb of bandwidth worth of visitors, and am very happy to have had so many successful remote viewings of my films, around 510 total views. Not bad for a one man band!

I'm slowly adding more & more content, most recent was the recruitment page, next to come will be the current projects page.
