How to define an excellent corporate video? :0 “Except the film look in post production” or how to produce an impressive corporate video? (Approximately 5 minutes) Anyone knows where I can find those info online…

My Setup:
Canon Xl1-s, MA200, edius 2 & DVraptor RT2

The camera is the least important thing. The script is the most important. Locations, lighting, talent, music, composition, editing, sound, graphics, etc., all are more important than what it's shot with. Your question forms the basis of a course in nontheatrical film production...beyond the limits of my post here.

I must agree with Bill wholeheartedly; I think the topic of "how to create an impressive corporate video" is beyond the scope of an internet message board. Certainly the topic can be discussed here; no doubt some experienced members may offer tips and whatnot. However the question is best answered with a thorough, intensive instructional course in a structured learning environment.

One such resource is David Lyman's International Film and Television Workshops in Rockport, Maine. See the listing for "Directing & Producing Corporate Videos" in the Corporate Video category in their course catalog at http://www.theworkshops.com/catalog/catalog.asp?SchoolID=21. Hope this helps,

you should read the book "Scriptwriting for High Impact Videos" by John Morley.

"Takes a process-oriented teaching approach as it guides the student step-by-step through the creative process. Provides examples, thought-provoking questions, and concepts to spark the imagination at every step. Reveals seven essential strategies for improving any video, and offers techniques for involving content experts and decision makers in the process while maintaining creative control. "

If you are writing corporate video scripts, this is a must have book.

Typically, corporate video is not uploaded to the internet.

No, but lots of companies have clips on their web sites. He could check out our site for some fairly typical stuff...www.opuskc.com.

I had forgot till now we took the old demo off that had a bigger variety of stuff, but the clips from the training tapes show a lot of typical corporate shooting situations.
