I got a booklet today from Sony. They are showcasing thier Vegas software as well as other Sony products.
Well in the rear I saw a link for an ad for stock footage at sonypicturesstockfootage.com. I went and looked around and decided to see how much a clip was and filled out all the regular info and clicked next thinking I could go to the next screen and see how much it was. All it said was that I would recieve it by July 15th. Did not ask for credit card info or anything. Any ideas? Is it gonna come COD? They would do this for free would they?

I went to the Sony Pictures Stock Footage web site. On the front page it says:

"The Sony Pictures Stock Footage website is a way for professional productions to preview more than 25,000 available clips. You can use the order feature to request high resolution preview footage or to license finishing elements for the final cut of your production."

What you may be getting is just the preview resolution footage. You can always call the phone number on the front page to find out more.

Thanks Christopher, I went back and read that as well. I was gonna pull my dumb question and I think you posted before I could delete it. Thanks for making sure I was on the right track. I guess when I get the preview I will know more about thier pricing.
