Hi there. I recently got a G5 dual 2ghz. I have a copy of FCE, v1.0, and am wondering if upgrading to 2 or PRO would somehow make for a healthier system. I'm fine with the features of this version of FCE, that's not my question.
Will this newer computer run this software without problems?

Shawn - you should download apples' free upgrade to 1.01- it's more stable than just 1.0

Good idea, Kurth...except that I have the computer in a location that doesn't have a working phone line. I'm investigating the phone line thing, but is there another way to get that update from the Apple website, over to my computer, via a medium and/or another Mac, something like that?

Go anywhere with an internet connection and you can copy the file to a CD. Apple Stores will do this for if there is one near you, but really, any place that has an internet connection should allow you to download the file (like, wherever you are connecting to this site).
