Thanks ahead of time.
I'm considering getting a couple Panasonic VW-LDC10 On Camera Light 10 Watts for shooting weddings. Mainly receptions, interviews, dancing, etc...
Has anyone had experience with these. Good, bad, ok?

I haven't used the VW-LDC10 before but it seems a little pricey not to come with a required battery and only be 10w.
B&H has 20w and 40w on-camera lights kits with belt batteries for $70-$100.
Definitely worth a look and welcome to DVinfo!

Thanks.
Do you mean the Bescor KLK-624 20/40w?
I was looking into that but I can't find out what an additional battery would cost since it doesn't list the connector type (non-standard) or any compatible accessories.
I've also looked at the Becor site, which is horrible, and information is lacking.
I think I will get this light but I'll have to find an extra battery.

I have the Bescor KLK-50 kit and it get's the job done just fine. It has a VS-50 lamp and MM-7 lead-acid battery. With 20-watt halogen lamps, the MM-7 battery lasts for five hours (but takes 14 hours to charge). Anyway, with Bescor products, I'm pretty sure that "KLK" items are kits that included batteries.
FWIW, the MM-7 and MM-9 batteries come with a should strap, which is what I prefer. These things are bricks. I can't imagine my belts or belt loops on my pants supporting one of these batteries on my hip for too long.
