so it's opposite - I don't want to reverse the action, more so mirror it

You asked how to flip a clip and I was going to answer "with a spatula" ;-) (sorry but I have a warped sense of humor) then I read your post so I'll give you the real answer. Go into the pan/crop of the clip and right click on the image in the pan/crop box. There are a number of options there include "flip horizontial". That's the one you want.
