I'm thinking about upgrading from Vegas Pro 12 to 13 and I want to understand the NewBlueFX Pro Titler considerations.
I have the latest release of Pro Titler 1 that was included with Vegas Pro 12. Will this function without watermarks with Vegas Pro 13 and is it supported by NewBlueFX? Or, must I upgrade to Pro Titler 3 to use it with Vegas Pro 13?
Thanks.

From Edward Troxel's posts about this issue on other Vegas forums.
Titler Pro 1 was bundled with Vegas Pro 11 and 12 but not with Vegas Pro 13 so you will get a watermark in Vegas Pro 13.
To use Titler Pro 1 in Vegas Pro 13, you will need to activate with a retail serial number as it was only bundled with Vegas Pro 11 and 12.
The Titler Pro 3 upgrade will be the full upgrade that will work with future versions of Vegas and have a full retail serial number meaning it will also work in any other supported NLEs you have installed.

Thanks Mike. For me, it's disappointing that I have to upgrade to Pro Titler 3 if I wish to continue using it with Vegas Pro 13. This may be the final reason why I don't upgrade to Vegas Pro 13. Or, I may upgrade Vegas and go back to the old standard Vegas Titles and Text titler.

David, I strongly recommend the upgrade to Titler Pro 3. There are a ton of new features that were added to both Titler Pro 2 and Titler Pro 3. Just take a look at this video for one of the new features in Titler Pro 3:

Alas, I assume what you told me about the older versions still holds true: It will not work on my computer with its Intel HD video. Correct?

All versions of Titler Pro will not work in the Intel HD 4000 series. I have not tested on the 5000 series so they may work.
Basically, if Titler Pro 1 did not work on your system due to low GPU, then Titler Pro 2 and Titler Pro 3 will not either.

OK, thanks. So, no need for me to upgrade.
