I have a friend's new XL2 I've been checking out for an upcoming shoot and would like to do some setup files. However, I can't seem to get a video signal out of the BNC port. I've searched through the manual and all the menus, and I can't find any reference to any switch or anything that I might need to set in order to get video out to a monitor. And, yes, I checked my BNC cables. Is there a secret switch someplace I haven't found yet, or does the camera have a bad BNC port?

There is a tiny switch just to the left of the BNC.

Well, hell...now I feel dumb.
Thanks! Odd that you'd have a switch for a BNC to be on. I've never seen that before.

It is not so much that it is turning the BNC 'on', but rather switching the signal between the BNC and composite feeds - as both essentially use the same parameters for signal compilation, it cannot feed to both ports at the same time and therefore must be switched to one or the other.
