Putting out a call to all editors! Just shot an action packed horror feature with a great story line filled with blood, gore and an ensemble cast of veteran actors who have been in films such as Domino, Delta Farce and Bruce Almighty. Shot in HD, our FX are a blend of CG and excellent looking practical makeup. You are all welcomed to visit our website at skinnedthemovie.com. There is pay which is negotiable, credit and copy. If interested please send your reels to the following email address: grimworld1975@yahoo.com. Thanks!

Does anyone know if there are any video/film rental/supply houses in or around Tampa, FL? I need to rent a lower-end prosumer SD DV cam for B roll for about a week. I'm also looking for potential lighting, dolly, and misc rental/purchasing (sandbags, gaffer's tape, etc.)

Any help would be appreciated! TIA!

In the same time it takes most companies to find their footing, Budo Videos has stomped to the top of Mixed Martial Arts mountain and put the competition to sleep with devastating selection and bone-blasting customer service.

As our company continues to bulk up (naturally, of course; no performance enhancing pharmaceuticals here!), we are coming to require the services of particular employees in more specific areas.

The square peg we’re looking for to plug this intrinsic four-sided-hole of a position, needs to be a ninja with Final Cut Studio 2, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. We need the type of techno-Samurai-with-an-Eye that can take raw video footage and Origami it into a wicked, finished, fully Authored DVD product (gotta be able to work in both SD and HD formats).

So, if you can do all that, and are bitchin’ way cool, and don’t mind a fun, relaxed work environment send us a demo reel.

Hey guys,

My name is Carl Middleton, Producer/Editor in Northeast Florida, near Jacksonville. A good portion of my experience is in adventure videography, I've filmed all through Florida, as well as Bahamas and Costa Rica. I shoot with a Z1 on a Bogen 503, edit with PPro2.0/AspectHD. As well, my crew includes 70+ years of audio/video experience, with a dedicated Final Cut editor, and all the tools and experience needed for Broadcast quality SD or Broadcast quality HD up to 1080i.

Always looking for subcontract projects, and other such work. Also experienced with TV Commercials, and all your typical video usages. Anyone need stock footage of swamps? We've got plenty of those around here. :D

Anyone in Miami...

I'm looking for video in 24p HD of night time South Beach, art deco areas, maybe even something from a high building looking down into the city or aerial fly over. This is for a short film's establishing shot, 15-30seconds at most. You receive 2nd camera director credits, copy of final DVD, and negotiate small fee.

thanks

George,
I e-mailed you the other day, but can't find the "sent" file, so maybe you didn't recieve it. I can help you if you don't mind a consumer HD camcorder.
The Canon HV20 can do 24p.

Hi Steve, thanks. I did not get email. Could be my side spam filtering...

Does the HV20 do HD 1080i? I think it does but not sure. The specs I'd need would be 1080i, 24p.

Let me know. I have the Canon XHA1 and could play back the tape on my end for capture purposes.

What I'd want is a lot of movement, tilting down from black sky to the neon signs of South Beach, shooting from inside the car showing traffic, showing people walking, even if they are shadows silhoueted by the neon lights...basically anything that looks good for intro of the film. Is there any place in Miami that has an observation deck to film from? I haven't been there in years and don't remember.

As I said I'll provide you with credits and pay for tape.

Carl Middleton
November 7th, 2007, 06:00 PM
I am also available, 5 hours or so from Miami, dependent on fees given due to the drive.

I film with a Z1, for this project I would give you 1080i 24p using Cineform's 50i->25p->24p. I'm a professional producer, and can handle any arrangements you need to make in terms of aerial or high-point angles, or just good standard shots as you've described (much cheaper than aerial). I'll also make sure the final product is in a format you can handle.

Shoot me an e-mail through my account here if you're interested!

Looking for a videographer to shoot some behind the scenes and tutorial DVD's on Photographics Lighting, Lighting for Beauty, Lighting for Glamour, and Location lighting on a budget and likely one additional lighting that is more broad based, headshot, portrait lighting.

I have several HD video cameras, firestore, dolly and track, steadicam and arm/vest, and lights, I mainly need someone with talent to shoot and capture the right stuff. Editing can be done by us, so its realitively easy, I really need someone talented at capturing the tutorial aspect and the sexy side of the models in between.

Based in NY Queens area and may likely do shoots in Manhattan and Long Island so having a car would be of help to get to potential locations.

Take a look at my work, and drop me an email if you are interested. Thanks.
