Hello, I have some old equipment that never leaves the equipment cabinet anymore and thought I would see if anyone is interested.

A very well used GL2. First off the heads really need cleaned and aligned, also the firewire port does not work (it never bothered me I have a cheapo dv camera to import) and the large zoom is wacky (meaning it usually doesn't work) The zoom on top of the handle works fine, and I always used a zoom controller. Cosmetically it looks pretty good, a few scuffs here and there but overall pretty good. I have no clue what a GL2 in this condition is worth so make me an offer.

I have 2 Firestore FS-4 for sale also.

The first one works perfect, never had a problem since I bought it, I put a 80gb hard drive in to double the record time. I have 3 different external batteries that work for longer then you would need to tape. Would like to get $450 for the firestore alone. If you are interested in the batteries we can discuss a price.

The 2nd Firestore will power fine but the interface never comes on. It has been like this forever and I have never sent it in to get fixed. Repair from Focus is $249 no matter the problem they will fix it for $249. I am looking to get $150 for this FS-4. So you will save yourself a little money by having to send it in, but you will basically have a new unit with a 90day warranty. The drive in this FS-4 is stock 40gb.

All prices include paypal and standard shipping. You pay insurance if you want it. I have bought and sold on here in the past and I have 100% positive ebay feedback.

Email is best: todd@videomemoriesinc.com

Thanks,
Todd

The additional ram really helps in render speed. Just had it checked and it is perfect running order. 250gb hard drive and 160gb backup included Also for sale, a 19 inch Dell LCD screen, and an PCI ATTO card for a SCSI Raid.

Computer $1200
Screen $75
ATTO Card $200

Thanks for looking.

I've got some more stuff sitting around that I was debating selling but I'd rather send it to someone who's who's gonna use it, my current shooting situations don't call for it. Some of the stuff are hold overs from my last selling post so I've put them here as well.

I'm selling:

A Manfrotto/Bogen Fig Rig with Fig Rig clamp for mounting lights, mics etc. (the combo goes for $360 at B&H)
See here: Bogen / Manfrotto | 595B Fig Rig Camera Stabilizer | 595B | B&H (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/381894-REG/Bogen_Manfrotto_595B_595B_Fig_Rig_Camera.html)
And here: Bogen / Manfrotto | Fig Rig Clamp | 595CLA | B&H Photo Video (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/381895-REG/Bogen_Manfrotto_595CLA_Fig_Rig_Clamp.html)
Asking $250 obo
PICS TO BE ADDED TONIGHT

Redrock SD Achromat (goes for $160)

Cinevate's original rails
$55 orbo

(they're not 15mm diameter they're 15.8 but work with stuff that clamp as opposed to slide example below) I personally used this config when I wanted to shoulder mount my XHA1 without an adapter, but obviously works with them too

Must sell...

2 reasonable hour Canon XL1 cameras (under 100hrs each)... one with the stock 16x lens, one with the 3x wide angle lens. They come with all the usual accessories, and extra batteries. They've been kept in good shape and babied. The only issue is that the firewire ports don't seem to work, so you'll have to use a camcorder as a deck (which I've been doing for years, which is why they also have so low hours). they'll work great with your XL1s, XL2, or so on...

I'll give you an inspection period and guarantee on them. For sale as a package preferably. I've been shooting HD for a while, but have still used these as B cams off and on on numerous projects. I just want to upgrade them to matching HD cameras.

Will ship anywhere to DVinfo members in good standing and will take Paypal.

EDIT: All of the above are sold!

It has been on the board for a week, so a few more details might help....The camera can accurately be described as mint - it looks like it has just come out of the box.

I have mainly used it to get familiar with video and have loaded and experimented with many of the colour presets posted on the XH-A1 list.

The price is GBP 1650+ VAT (£1938 incl) for the camera. I'm shortly upgrading to an EX1 with Letus, so sensible offers accepted.

Drop me a personal message or a email me through my web site.

I have a XH-A1 that I bought to upgrade from my Canon XL2. After playing with it a bit I realized that my skill level and needs are closer to the capabilities of the XL2 than the XH-A1.

For sale including all original equipment and two training DVD videos, the better one by Douglas Spotted Eagle, "Inside the Canon XH-A1 and XH-G1", produced by VASST. The second DVD is from Elite Video, also for the XH-A1. Both are highly rated, but I prefer the VASST version.

Price is $2,600 including shipping and insurance, both DVDs, and original accessories. I don't have the original factory box, but it will be well packed.

If you (or anyone else) are interested, please reply to me via private message.

I'll take $100 (or best offer) including shipping anywhere in the US48 (sorry no international orders, not even Canada... I've had bad luck shipping to Canada lately). I prefer PayPal or Google checkout, but I'll take checks or money order.

It's the Petrol PCCB-N1 case like this one on B&H:
Petrol | PCCB-1N Compact Camcorder Bag | PCCB-1N | B&H Photo (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/236223-REG/Petrol_PCCB_1N_PCCB_1N_Compact_Camcorder_Bag.html)

Mine didn't come with the free lens hood, so that's not included. Case is in perfect shape, used for about a year, very clean, no stains, rips, or tears. The case itself is very comfortable to carry, it has a nice elastic stress-relief shoulder strap. The sides are pretty sturdy and I feel comfortable "throwing" it around. Plenty of room to hold about 15-20 DV tapes, charger, all cables, spare batteries, and some filters with room to spare. I also have the original box (sorry, not pictured), and will ship it to you in that.

I'm going to be replacing this with a hard case (Pelican or equivalent) and really don't have any use for this anymore.

Need to sell pretty quick, so let me know asap by private message or email nick -at- superium pro -dot- com

All right.
Anyone interested in this package *minus the FD 50mm F1.2 lens* for $300 inc. shipping? Remember this adapter can also use Nikon F Mount AI/AIS lenses if you reverse the mount.
That's a crazy cheap way to get into 35mm adapters for your XL series camcorders...

DV Info Community:

I am considering selling my Canon XH-A1 camera, as I have not used it much lately (new job, new home, cross-country move, etc.). I hate to sell it, but I just haven't had time to use it much lately.

This HD camcorder is in pristine condition both cosmetically and functionally. There are approximately 20 hours on the drum. I have only used only Sony Premium (DVM60PRR in blue wrapping) tapes with it; no other brands. Includes all original accessories, including the original box. Also included is a 72mm UV filter I've kept attached to the lens; I will also throw in a non-OEM high capacity battery.

I've kept it stored in a Pelican case when not in use (although not part of the sale). Further, it is from a smoke-free, pet-free home. As I said above, it has been used sparingly and is in mint condition. I can take and send photos if you'd like.

Price = $2,800 + actual U.S. shipping (I prefer FedEx).

Forms of accepted payment are Cashier's Check, Paypal and Paypal eCheck. You will have to cover Paypal's 3% surcharge if you choose that method. (Paypal eCheck is a nice alternative and only costs $5 -- which I will eat; however, I can't ship until payment clears which takes a few business days).

Thanks for looking.

Does this mean you have a 17x or a 13x? Sorry just always looking for frame grabs to see if I want to REALLY buy a 17x. The 13x seriously rocks though.

Justin Ferar
September 30th, 2008, 06:27 PM
I have the 17x on the cam. As long as you stay away from the extremes they are indistinguishable. The 17X is a bit wider and has a much sportier zoom servo. At extremes the 17x is sharper.

Having used both the 16x and the 17x extensively I'm not sure that I would spend the $3K on the 17x if I were on a budget. But times are good so- I did.

Nikon 80-200 F4.5 in fab condition. I have lenses a couple of years old that don't look as good. This lens is a manual lens and gives nice results. I have used it on the HD110 and have been happy with footage. Also easy to focus.
