I was shooting DV with my Sony Z1 and recording to an nNovia drive.
Down coverting was turned off, so no cropping squeezing or letter boxing. Windows media player saw the footage as 16:9 BUT.... When I put it in Vegas 6, Vegas changed the footage as 4:3
I fixed the problem by going into media properties and correcting the aspect ratio. The annoying part was that there were over 40 clips and I had to adjust each clip individually.
Has anybody else run into a problem like this? And/or is there a quicker way of fixing this problem?
