Hey Guys,

I shot some footage with my new Canon XH A1 in HDV 24f. I imported the footage into FCP using the HDV settings provided. Everything seemed alright, but when I started to edit the video was jumping about a second ahead of what it was showing me in the playback.

When I would play from the timeline the video will play, but when I stop the video it will jump ahead. When I go frame by frame it's perfect, but when I try to play it back it's off sync.

I've used the same footage in imovie and played it back in quicktime without any problems. Does anyone know what could be wrong?

I'm using a Pwerbook G4 1.67 GHz and I have 512 MB DDR SDRAM.

first things first....................upgrade to at least 1g. should really be about 2g of RAM but upgrade to a minimum of 1gig and see how much of a difference that makes.
