Just a warning about something I've seen in some of my shots with the HV20. As shown in the picture below, the shiny ring around the lens can throw a distinct reflection on a subject. I haven't ever seen this with another camera, and I've seen it show up in a serveral shots with the HV20. It does make it a dead giveaway what camera I shot it with.

When I leave my step up ring for my 35mm adapter on, it blocks that action..

Interesting post! I've just started leaving a step up ring attached to my HV20 because it adds a bit of protection at the front and being black I thought it would help with reflections - looks like I was right!
