I'm gonna shoot with 2 cameras.
Canon XLH1 and Panasonic DVX100.
Canon I'll be shooting HDv 16:9 and I wonder what is best when shooting with the DVX? Is it best to shoot in sqeeze mode and then change/transform to 16:9 in editing prosess? Or in 4:3 mode and then change in editing prosess?
Any tip on how to do this?

I usually shoot in 16:9 squeeze mode with a DVX 100 & DVC30 and the editing software is importing the footage as 16:9. If you shoot in 4:3 then you should crop the image to 16:9 to match your XLH1.
I think that the first way, will may save you a little amount of time in the rendering process.

Thanks for responding to my request.
Maybe I'll try it out both ways, just to see what suit me best.

Thanks again.

be aware that shooting 4:3 gives you an additional 25% head and foot space so frame correction is possible, whereas with squeeze, u wont have this option later
