Digital DOF reduction ?
I eas wondering... if the camera knows what's in focus and what is not (AF, Focus Peak, etc) how comes that nonody has invented some algorythm that live (or in post) creates the shallow dof effect extra defocusing proportionally ehat is already out of focus?

I think they just released something relatively recently. But yeah, it might be a while before you can have selective control of focus in 4K or even HD.
