Samurai 4.0

Beta testers have already received a link to the final version. I’m told it goes live today or tomorrow. Hopefully no last minute hitches. I’ve really been enjoying the DNxHD.

Re: Samurai 4.0

Has anyone tried with success to unlock the DNxHD codec on the Samurai 4.0? You need to enter an "activation page" on the atomos website to get a code, but the link goes nowhere

Re: Samurai 4.0

I have. Worked perfectly. Use the link on the top of the page like this..where the HERE is light blue will take you to the activation page.

Version No. 4.0
Reccommended for all users. Avid DnxHD requires activation here.
ProRes only customers do not need to activate.

or top of this page

Re: Samurai 4.0

Ah, many thanks! I oversaw this little "here" and clicked on the "activation page" link under "release notes", and this isn't in fact active.

Re: Samurai 4.0

Where are you downloading "Samurai 4.0" from?
Sorry for the post ... found it via a Google search. The Alphatron website needs some fine tuning.

Hi Burkhard,

Thanks for the heads up, we'll have that second link fixed today.
