Cage for Shogun?
Hi
Can anyone recommend a cage for the shogun? I want it to stabilize the mounting on my camera cage so it is mounted rock solid! Last edited by Bo Skelmose; January 19th, 2015 at 06:38 AM. |

Re: Cage for Shogun?
Bo, I am working on hood and bracket system like the one I make for the Odyssey for the Shogun.
I have the hood kit in stock already, and a prototype of the cage on my shogun for testing. Here is just a quick photo of how it works. I will post more photos soon, I should have some for sale next week. It utilizes a lot of the same parts as my Odyssey system and is very solid, can be mounted on any 15mm rail it keeps the monitor level with the horizon, and does not flop over like the ball/noga arm mounts. I am working on a version for the A7s as well. These photos give you the idea.

Re: Cage for Shogun?
Exiting. The sgohun is a little different from the Odyssey 7 because the plugs are mounted on the side and on the back. So a cage built for the Odyssey wont necessarily work with Shogun. So great if one special for the Shogun is built. I have read about the problems with the weak plastick and the shogun mount. A mount that mount the shogun both in top and buttom will be the right one. I'll look forward to the release :)
