B Roll AVCHD Cam That Does Good 24p
We are looking for an AVCHD cam that will shoot a good 24p to HDD as a B-roll to a HVX200.
Can someone more conversant point to some candidates. We are looking at the HG10, but wonder about the useablility of 24p, fast motion footage, and motion blur. best |

24p on the Canon HG10 (an AVCHD camcorder) is no different
from 24p on the Canon HV20 (an HDV camcorder). As far as how well it will work for you, that's something you should judge for yourself. Just download the 24p clips from the HG10 that we provided at http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/showthread.php?t=101059 and be sure to report back what you think. Hope this helps, |

Thanks Chris.
I've done what you suggested. What I don't have is samples with fast motion and attendant artifacting and motion blur. My understanding is that the AVCHD spec includes 720p, but only the Apitek supports it. Given the smaller file size, I wondering why. |
