Hi Ben

Thanks for showing the test. I'm waiting for my mic to be delivered sometime this week. One thing I am concerned about is how well the unit worked if the mic is out of line of sight, in otherwords if the mic is blocked by objects etc. How has it worked for you under those conditions?

Wayne

Hi Wayne -

I've been pretty impresed with the HW1 - nifty to have 5 channel sound on the CX7!

Range seems to be good - in line of sight, I got pretty good signal a little over the rated 100 feet, and with my kids running around the house helping me test, I didn't have any dropout over a good 40-50 foot range - it did better than my wireless G network... not sure where the exact dropoff point is, or how it would perform in metal frame buildings, but I was impressed.

I think my remaining questions are how it will fare in a high RF interference environment (cell phones, pdas, computers with bluetooth, etc.), and whether each mic is on a discrete channel so I could run a couple of them.

Just haven't had the chance to test (only one mic, and haven't had the chance to test in a big crowd). I would expect that there should not be any issues with a Bluetooth device, so I'm hopeful the answers to those questions are positive.
