Sony SR12 vs Canon HV30
So what it the current status between these two choices. Does HDV still have the edge over the AVC of the Sony?
Is the SR11/12 the best AVC cam currently available? Has the SR12 improved the quality from the previous SR7/8 (which I sold) . Is low light performance any better than the SR7/8? Thanks! |

deniz,
read the reviews of the cams at this site. http://www.camcorderinfo.com/ it says canon HF10 is the best AVCHD cam this year, and it nearly equals and/or better in some situations than HV20-30's. it is also better than SR12... hope this helps alkim.

The SR11/12 are noticeably better the SR7 in low light and noise level.

You should search the forum. There are a lot of posts on the Sony SR12.
