New ACVHD Camera , New PC, NO Dice at DVinfo.net

I have the hdr-cx7, when i install the software sony gave on my new vista pc, it screws up the computer where i cant restart it, says cant retart, so i have to f6 it to last best configuer but when i do, the software is missing part and wont regonize the camera, cant even intall the update because it need to recognize camera first. is there a newer version of software with the cx 12?

There are a couple patches for the CX7, don't know if they address your issue, but you might poke around the Sony site, and yes, every camera has a different version of PMB, which seems liek the biggest pain in the patootie imaginable...
