Sony HDR-SR12, JVC GZ-HD6 and the GY-HD200
Hi ,
I'm new here and new to HD. I am about to undertake a project that will be shot on a JVC GY-HD200 @ 720p/25 or maybe 720p/50. I'm in Australia. I will also end up with some stuff done on a GZ-HD6 and a Sony HDR-SR12 How will all these all Mix together on the time line ? Are there going to be problems? I am particularly interested in how the HDR-SR12 and the GY-HD200 will go together. cheers John |

John
It's not clear to me if you are concerned if the footage will match re color, WB, etc., or if you are concerned with just getting all the formats onto the same timeline. If it's the latter, my best solution is Cineform (CineForm Home Page) Prospect intermediate .avi codec. Everything gets converted to and ingested as 1920x1080 Cineform .avi files. Then the original acquisition format becomes irrelevant. After edit, you can output these big CFHD.avi files to any delivery format desired- from Flash for Web to 35mm film.
