AVCHD Compression Ratio(s?)

Sorry if this has been answered already. But I couldn't find a reference to "AVCHD compression ratio" via Search here (or on Google). Do AVCHD compression ratios vary by vendor? Is there a rough number? I am just curious. I know that when I convert Canon MTS files to Cineform AVI, the size increase is about 10-12x. But what I am curious is what is the rough compression ratio vis a vis raw, uncompressed. I am guessing it's much higher than 10-12x. Thanks.
