Considering MC3.0 ?'s

Been on Vegas for long time, looking hard at Media Composer 3.0. I have some questions regarding workflow.

1.Do I need hardware to cap?
2. Can I use control surfaces, specifically Mackie Control Pro or Digidesign
3. what does it take to run two edit monitors and preview on 42" HD monitor
4. hows audio production capabilities

You might need to buy an certified workstation if your hardware to date dont match with avid's specs.

To monitor HD and use to monitors for editing you need mojo DX which is a five grand box that will give you hd-sdi i/O.
