Audio issues with Hyperdeck Files

Just started working with uncompressed files from the Shuttle -- when I import them into Premiere Pro, they come in with 16 channels of audio (but only 2 channels have sound). How do I get them to only import with the actual 2 channels of audio?

Thanks.

Re: Audio issues with Hyperdeck Files

The MOV flavors (both DNxHD and uncompressed) always have 16 channels of audio, no matter what the camera originally recorded with regard to audio tracks. The DNxHD MXF video files have a stereo pair of audio MXF files (L & R channels). With the MOV versions, in PPro, just group select the empty audio tracks and delete them. I suppose that someone could be helpful and write a script to do that, but it really isn't that bad, unless you are dealing with a large number of files.
