Import C300 MXF into Final Cut Pro 7.0.3.
I have tried using XDCAM transfer which is great for MXF and it works but seems to have bugs.
Next I will try the Canon XF transfer again since it failed twice to load. Any other ways where you have the ability to precut or pick codec? |

OK, after Simon told me to just use XF plug in for Final Cut I found the software on the Canon site.
edited this post so the information was accurate and did not confuse future people looking for the same info. Thanks Simon Last edited by Paul Cronin; September 29th, 2012 at 04:15 PM. |

Hi Paul,
The way I get the Canon C300 into FCP7 is via log and transfer, just make sure you have the Canon XF plugin. Cheers |

Hi Simon,
I thought of sending you an email first. What OS do you have? I see it works with my 10.5.8 OS. |

No need to answer Simon I found it. Time to stop for the day it was right under my nose on the Canon site. Will upload it tomorrow and continue with my testing of the C300.
